And so it begins…

Well, folks, I’m ready and excited to begin researching tomorrow at WSR Middle School in Travis Angell’s 6th grade classroom. Waverly-Shell Rock has had an implemented 1:1 iPad program for over a year now, so I am anxious to see the impact it has had on the preparation and lesson planning of the teachers, the engagement of the students, and the effective assessment tools it provides. Just to “prime the well” with some additional ideas, feel free to take a look at this great blog displaying some lessons and projects implemented by a school in Boston utilizing the iPad in a similar way to W-SR. Especially with my focal points in math and history, I found some great content in ideas #3-5…
